Commercial members access to the Tri-State Electrify and Save program came to an end on April 30. We have until May 31 to submit rebates under this program for member projects that were completed by April 30.

LED Lamps only. Includes:

  • Exterior Wall Mounted Fixtures
  • Exterior Pole Mounted Fixtures
  • Refrigerated Case and Door Fixtures
  • Interior Lighting
  • Canopy Fixtures
  • Exit Signs & Occupancy Sensors
  • Grow Lights
  • Lamp Replacement to LED in existing fixtures
  • Rebate for both existing fixture retrofit and new construction projects.

Design Lights Consortium certification required.

Rebate Program Details:

  • Pre-set amount by fixture type.
  • Pole Mounted Lighting cap of $10,000 or 20% of total LED head cost per member.
  • Refrigerated Case Lighting cap of $1,500 or 25% of total LED fixture cost per member.
  • All other retrofit fixture types have a combined cap of $10,000 or 20% of total LED fixture cost per member.

Member is limited to ONE rebate per year, regardless of multiple accounts.

Commercial & Industrial Electric Motors

  • New permanently installed motors: 10-1500 hp
  • Maximum motor size 1500 hp
  • Reference minimum motor efficiencies table.
  • Minimum 10 hp, operating at minimum of 15% load factor or 3 months per year.
  • $1/hp wiring assistance also available.

Rebate Amount: $4/hp

  • Program includes: irrigation, farm, commercial and industrial uses
  • Motors from 25 hp and up
  • New and retrofit application

Project capped at 25% of the VSD equipment costs.
Per project cap of $10,000 per member, per year. 

United Power is offering rebates on the purchase of electric forklifts and pallet jacks. 

  • Electric forklift rebate: $2,500 per forklift -or- 50% of cost, whichever is LESS
  • Electric pallet jack rebate: $750 per pallet jack -or- 50% of cost, whichever is LESS
  • Program cap of $6,500
  • Include itemized receipt upon rebate submission
