Deadline for Scholarship and Steamboat Youth Camp Applications Extended to Monday Because of Weather

United Power is extending the deadline for scholarship and Steamboat Youth Camp applications to Monday, February 6, 2012 due to the extensive winter storm in our area.

"We understand that several schools were planning on mailing out the application packets for students today, and the schools are closed due to the weather," stated Heidi Storz, Marketing and Communication Coordinator. "In addition, we don't want any parents or students trying to drive to our offices or the post office with the roads in their current condition."

Applications postmarked by the new February 6, 2012 deadline will be considered for all the relevant scholarship or camp opportunities. Any questions about this change can be directed to Heidi Storz at 303-637-1259.
