Discover Where Energy is Wasted

United Power has created a Kill-A-Watt Kit to provide members with the tools to determine how much energy each of their electric appliances uses. The information can then be used to change household habits to try to reduce electric consumption.
Each kit includes a Kill-A-Watt, detailed instructions on its use, and additional tips and information to help members save energy. Cut your energy costs and find out what appliances are actually worth keeping plugged in. Simply connect appliances to the Kill-A-Watt, and it will count consumption by the kilowatt-hour, calculate your cumulative electrical expenses and forecast by the day, week, month, even an entire year.
Kill-A-Watt Kits are available to check out at no cost at local libraries throughout the United Power service territory and also at all three United Power offices.
