United Power is currently experiencing an outage affecting approximately 1,800 members served by the Fulton Substation in Fort Lupton. The outage began at 8:35 a.m. and we have crews on-site working to determine the cause of the outage. Our crews are reporting downed lines in the area of WCR 12 – just east of Denver Ave. Members are advised to avoid that area.

United Power members are reminded that power lines carry high voltage electricity and can be deadly. If you happen to be in a vehicle and wires have fallen on or near it, stay in your vehicle and tell others not to touch the wires or the vehicle. Anyone on the ground who touches the vehicle could be in danger. If the vehicle is safe and is not on fire, stay in the vehicle until an emergency responder indicates that it is safe to get out.

Customers are reminded to call our outage line at 303-637-1350 or log into their account via SmartHub to report an outage. Please know that our line crews are working as quickly and as safely as possible to restore your power.
