Update 5:00 p.m.

Crews are still working to complete repairs and restore members affected by last night's outage. The outage has been extended because of the pole's location and the extent of repairs that needed to be made, but crews are making progress.

Update 9:30 a.m.

United Power made repairs overnight to restore approximately 20 members affected by this outage. Another crew was called in to replace the damaged pole and make additional repairs.

Before they can begin, crews must wait 2 hours for 811 to conduct safety locates for underground utility infrastructure. Due to the extensive repairs necessary following last night's vehicle crash, members should expect a lengthy outage with restoration extending into the afternoon.

United Power is experiencing an outage affecting approximately 120 members living southeast of Hudson. The outage began at 9:19 p.m. The outage was the result of a vehicle crash that caused significant damage to a power pole and other electrical equipment. Crews are on site working to isolate the outage and make repairs to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
